Andrew is accustomed to dealing with senior politicians and Civil Servants. He served as the Independent Reviewer in the Armed Forces Communications Capability Review (2012-14), sat on the Governmental Advisory Committee on Advertising (2002-8) and chaired The Advertising Standards Authority Code Review and its extension into digital communications (2008-11).

He is a former Chairman of the Institute of Promotional Marketing, the Incorporated Society of British Advertisers, is a Past President of The Marketing Society and a former director of the Audit Bureau of Circulations and the Broadcast Committee of Advertising Practice.
